I went to the Gwinnett County Democrats event yesterday for the national reunion. There were over 100 people at the BBQ picnic. Great turnout of local candidates as well. Allan Burns(left), candidate for the 7th congressional race, talks to a gwinnett Democrat. You can checkout the events held around the country at the DNC Reunion page.
While Gwinnett is decidedly republican, you can see the trend starting to turn our way. There are democratic respresentatives in the GA house and senate. The local offices are dominated by Rs though.
I hope everyone reading this attended an event near them yesterday. If not, contact your local party and find out how you can help this year.
