I won't be at the races next weekend but I sure am glad the NHRA put Richmond back on the circuit after not running there since 2000.

Former Gov. Mark Warner (D) was instrumental in negotiating the return of NHRA Drag Racing to the Dinwiddie County track. The economic impact for this area will be huge. Consider the fact that 50-60 thousand people will attend the 4 day event. The hotels, restaurants, campgrounds, convenient stores and the county tax coffers will all benefit not to mention great racing for some of the most dedicated fans in all of motors ports.

Just one more small reason why I am think Gov. Warner is the right man for 2008.
