I am still recovering from former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner's decision not to run for President in 2008. I keep hoping he will change his mind.....Doubtful, very doubtful.

So I thought I would throw something out there on the newest hot name - the junior Senator from Illinois Barack Obama.  I like him and would love to see a Obama/Warner or Warner/Obama ticket. Talk about a new generation of leadership!

Of course, the RWNM has already started their 'subtle' mind games with Obama's middle name. It is a family name that means "Handsome One" in arabic. His middle name in Hussein. Expect to hear Brack Hussein Obama a lot on Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, BushCo etc. in the near future. They are not wasting any time on this one.

Hopefully, the public is starting to catch on and this will back-fire

If you are not familiar with Obama, I have pulled a few quotes...

“I don’t oppose all wars. What I am opposed to is a dumb war. What I am opposed to is a rash war. What I am opposed to is the cynical attempt by Richard Perle and Paul Wolfowitz and other armchair, weekend warriors in this administration to shove their own ideological agendas down our throats, irrespective of the costs in lives lost and in hardships borne.”

"My job is not to represent Washington to you, but to represent you to Washington."

"Today we are engaged in a deadly global struggle for those who would intimidate, torture, and murder people for exercising the most basic freedoms. If we are to win this struggle and spread those freedoms, we must keep our own moral compass pointed in a true direction."

"This budget tells our veterans that if they want increased funding for the VA they'll have to pay for it themselves."

"We have an obligation and a responsibility to be investing in our students and our schools. We must make sure that people who have the grades, the desire and the will, but not the money, can still get the best education possible."
